It's less than a week before we take off to Florida so things are totally insane as it would be imagined. Still in a tossup about actually going to practicum tomorrow. I might call in the morning and just not go so I can have a bit more time to get ready. We'll see. (I have lots of cleaning and last minute stuff to do XD

In fact, I have a To Do list for tomorrow:

Make it to the Post Office
Clean up
Decide on the doll clothes that'll be coming with me and get them packed and ready to go along with the things that can be packed without me needing them in the next few days
Dig out my old card book
Clean up and reorganize my room.
Make pants for Ryo
Clear off my camera's memory card
Wash Eliza's wig and maybe Smore's

All that being said it's really tempting to stay home tomorrow. Then I could maybe go to practicum wednesday. Doesn't really matter since I'm way ahead. It's just really tough to bring myself to do anything now that classes are some for the holidays.

Ah well. Much to do x_x Sleep is needed, GOODNIGHT!

I have to paint a Kill_U head tomorrow and need to get some Jump Rings for his ear piercings before I send him home. I don't want to go all the way to Michaels if I don't have to so I'm wondering if anyone in the city knows of anywhere in the EK area that sells craft supplies.

I kinda hate living in this area. It feels very isolated and nothing is close enough -o-

Okay scratch that, driving to work was pretty awful too.

I put it all below the cut considering I don't want to fill up peoples Friend Pages with bitchy whining.

First off, people need to learn how to fucking drive in this city. I know it just snowed and everyone is all worried about icy roads and shit like that (well half the people are anyway, not all of them), but it's no reason to drive 35-40 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. Especially when the roads are obviously dry and it's fucking rush hour.

On the other hand, it doesn't mean it's time to drive like a fucking moron either. It means you drive safely. End of story. Of course what am I to expect, people in this city don't know how to fucking drive in general.

I ended up getting to work about a half hour early (and no I won't be getting paid for it at all) and looked over the list of stuff to do today and surprise surprise, half the first page is the bosslady telling me off for not doing the assignments right last time. Seriously? It's always "Oh you did it wrong. It makes your student feel bad to have to do it over and over again." Well let me just say it makes me feel like shit being told I do it wrong every fucking time. Wanna know why I do it wrong every fucking time? Because you don't know how to give instructions.

A list of things that can help me help my student better:

1. Spell check your fucking 'instructions' before you give them to me. It's a pain in the ass to have to swim through a sea of spelling and grammar errors to try to figure out what you're trying to say. By the way, fragmented sentences are fucking useless when I'm trying to teach someone something new.

2. Give me real instructions. Detailed steps as to what you'd like me to do. Those would be fantastic. Rather just "Do this lesson. Make sure you have this thing."

3. Rather than telling me what I'm doing wrong every time, try telling me what I should be doing to correct it. PROPERLY. Don't just tell me "WELL THIS IS WRONG. DO IT BETTER."

4. Stop being so fucking controlling and acting like you're better than me. You are not better than me just because I work for you. I'm not your slave and I'm not your little puppet so start treating me like a human being and not something you pried off the bottom of your shoe.

There's more things but I'm pretty sure that those few things cover the majority of it.

Also, no I don't intend to continue working here after I graduate. First off, the job is not worth the money I'm getting for it and the sense of satisfaction from helping someone is definitely not worth it either. In fact this will likely be my last year here so forget about me giving up on my desire to teach English overseas once I've graduated. I've wanted to do that since eighth grade, what makes you think working here is going to change my mind so drastically just because you're passionate about this job. To me, this is just a job. This is a way for me to make an extra $45 a week.

I feel better now that I've bitched. I think I need to just go curl up and sleep now. Oh wait, I don't get off work until 9pm. -_-

This year I've been busy!

In October I didn't flush (-1 points). In June I got in line at the supermarket at the same time as someone else and I didn't yield (-8 points). In September I stole nana_cupcake's purse (-30 points). In February I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). Last Tuesday I ruled Duluth, Minnesota as a cruel and heartless dictator (-700 points).

Spent the day with Sarah today. It was fun. Helped her do some quick yardwork at home before hauling her off to the forks to photo-harass her and dollies. Didn't get a lot of photos of Ces which I'd intended to do but I got lots of her girl Evelette. After that we buggered off and got sushi then for dessert Frogurt. Mmmm Frozen yogurt x3

After that we tried to get some night shots but sadly not much became of those. Ah well.

After heading back to Sarah's place for a bit we ended up going to catch the late showing of that new Disney's A Christmas Carol. I must say it's TOTALLY NOT A KID'S MOVIE. It was funny at times but it was a rather adult version of the story. Lots of VERY frightening scenes and I'm sure if I was a kid I'd likely have been too scared to sleep. It was good but @.@;

Awesomely enough, since we went to the late showing on a Sunday night it was our own private theatre. We were literally the ONLY people in the entire room. It was awesome. We got to be loud, chatty, and no one got ticked at us. Not that I'm usually loud in a movie but it was kinda fun for a change lol. It was like having a huge TV in a massive rec room. XD Sevin didn't much like the movie though, too scary for him.

On the way out and home we noticed that the power was all out in one section. Kinda scary. We also saw a buck and a doe as we drove.

And finally I bought Ryo's body yesterday. Decided to try out the Dragon Doll NS Pink body for him. The shorter 56.5cm one ^^ We'll see how he looks on that. I hope his head's not too big for it. Shouldn't be though.

Now I'm gonna chill a bit before trying to sleep off this nasty cough xP

New Hair!!!

Got my hair done today. Totally random I went into my hairdresser to see when she was available and she was all "Hey! Coming in for a new cut? I'm available now!!" And so I ran home got my reference pic on Miyavi (Number 12 for those who saw my last post about my hair) and before I knew it I was sitting in the chair and she was razoring away the back of my hair xD WOO!

I still suck at taking photos of myself but y'know.

I adore how it turned out. Super cute. Kinda ended up being rather Miyavi crossed with Kirito but I love it regardless. Of course I'm already planning for next time but I always am xD Not sure what I'll do next time lol.

Yesterday was Seth's 2 Year Dollie birthday and thus he is being spoilt with clothes. *is currently shopping for him*

He hasn't changed a whole lot since he first arrived except his wig and eyes and getting more clothes lol. I don't make a big deal about all my dolls dollie birthdays (Well I do and I luff them dearly) but since Seth is my first I try to do something special for each of his birthdays with me. :D

I bought this head second from the marketplace around 4 or so months ago. He has since been wiped and modified.

His modifications include:

Ears have been reshaped and made to droop by boiling methods. One ears has two piercing holes though they may need to be redrilled to fit a piercing through.

His earlobes have been slightly more defined as well.

His nose has been sanded slightly and his jaw has been smoothed to be less square.

His upper lip has been defined through sanding, though it is not perfect.

His faceup is done by me, sealed with MSC UV cut.

This is including the head, wig, and eyes. I will not wipe the faceup before sending.

So because I can just never be happy with my hair I'm thinking of going in to get it done again but I don't want the same cut or style. I'm looking for opinions on which hairstyle I should go for. I have some pictures following that show some of the things I'm thinking. Keep in mind that anything that's a really vibrant colour may be toned done as I am a student teacher and therefore would like to not get the "O_O OMGWTF" look

And so opinions and comments will be appreciated. Not sure what I want yet. I know which ones I'm partial to. If anyone else has suggestions I'd be willing to hear them as well. (And no leaving my hair as is is not an option xP)

In an attempt to make myself forget the incredible discomfort I'm in and that despite all that I'm in class (Because I have an oral exam in Japanese and can't really miss it) I'm going to update on life as it were.

Work is evil. We've been setting up Christmas since August and we're still not done. I spent six hours yesterday repricing clearance Christmas tree ornaments. On the upside of that I sat for most of my shift.

Halloween was pretty good. On Thursday I carved pumpkins with Sarah. Pictures are below the cut.

And we're pretty proud of them. They're obviously not pro or anything but it was pretty neat ^^

Also My Makeup from Halloween Night:

Flash totally killed it but ah well. haha. In regular/poor lighting it looked like someone cracked me over the head with a shovel and proceeded to cut my face open and stitch it back up again. I took my cousin out Trick or Treating and totally used it as an excuse to get some free candy myself. I forgot how generous the people in my old neighbourhood are.

Went to the zombie walk tonight and it was too fun. Didn't have time to play with a lot of the makeup I wanted to but it ended up being really fun. Lots of pictures and videos below the cut. Some of the videos you can't see much but streetlights but it was fun anyway xD Unfortunately there's always a few morons here and there that really need to chill and not take things too far but those few idiots aside it was way too much fun to go out and shuffle about for an hour XD
